If you are unsure of what to wear for your family or maternity session, I am happy to help!
Here are some tips to get you started:
Choose two or three colours to include or a colour theme - this could mean incorporating pastel colours or warm colours, for example. This doesn't mean wearing matching clothes, but make sure they don't clash. Neutral colours and tones photograph well and textures, such as knitwear or lace, look lovely.
Wear mostly solid coloured clothing - patterns can work if used a little, but too much pattern can be distracting. Large logos or images should be avoided.
For a maternity session, wear something you feel comfortable in but is also tight around the belly to show off your bump. Dresses work great for maternity sessions, either plain or floral, and lace also looks lovely. Another option is a tank top with a drapey cardigan or open shirt.
The most important thing to remember is that your photo session is all about you and your family, not your clothes! I want you to be comfortable and to enjoy your session.
